The Queens Head Inn is a popular small hotel near Oundle, Stamford and Peterborough.

We operate a flexible rate policy with rooms starting from £59.00 including Breakfast for a double room for single occupancy and £65.00 including breakfast for double occupancy.
As we get busier the rate will increase so the earlier you make your reservation the better the rate is likely to be.

We do not have a minimum stay requirement except when special events like Burghley Horse trials are being held in the area.

Short Breaks In Northamptonshire

The Queens Head Inn is an ideal base from which to explore the East Anglian countryside. Come and stay for two nights or more enjoying the delights that East Anglia has and then return to the comfort of the Inn each evening for a drink by the fire (winter months) or the River Nene (summer months) and a lovely meal followed by a comfortable nights sleep.

Burghley Horse Trials 2013(minimum 3 night stay)

From the 5th to the 8th September 2013 accommodation bookings will only be accepted on the basis of a minimum stay of 3 nights at the rate of £130.00 per room per night including breakfast. A deposit of £65.00 will be requested when you make your reservation and payment of the balance will be required by the 20th August 2013. If the balance payment is not received by the 20th August  2013 we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain any deposits paid.

Payment Policy
A valid credit card details will be required to guarantee all bookings.

At certain times the Queens Head Inn may request deposits equal to the value of the first nights rate.

A deposit will be required for any accommodation booked during the dates of Burghley Horse Trials.

Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise specified for an event period bookings arriving on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday can be cancelled without charge up to 4pm on the day of arrival.

Bookings arriving on Friday & Saturday can be cancelled without charge up to 4pm on the Wednesday before the arrival date.

In the event of a cancellation outside of the terms above the cancellation charge will be the equal to the first night rate booked. The cancellation charges will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the booking.
